Our Christmas Movie Checklist

Spending time at home with your family is really what Christmas is all about. There is nothing like spending the evening in front of the fire watching your favourite Christmas movies! I’m sure you are already thinking about your favourites but here is our list just in case you need some inspiration.


The Santa Clause

On Christmas eve, Scott and his son Charlie receive a visit from Santa. Scott causes Santa to accidentally fall off the roof! As Santa disappears, he is left with an eight reindeer sleigh, a suit and instructions. As the story unfolds, he learns to become the new Santa and convince his family that he is Father Christmas. Really enjoyable movie for both adults and kids, a must see!


Home Alone

It wouldn’t be Christmas without watching this movie. Kevin, an eight year old
boy is accidentally left at home as his family fly to France just before Christmas.
He finds himself defending his home against the ‘Wet Bandits’ , idiotic burglars!
You find yourself laughing from the very beginning of this movie. Don’t forget you
can also watch Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.


The Polar Express

This is a beautiful film, it’s normally on the box on Christmas eve. The Polar Express arrives on Christmas Eve and a doubting boy boards the magical train that’s headed to the North Pole and Santa Claus’ home. He receives an extraordinary gift only those who still believe in Santa can experience.


The Muppets Christmas Carol

The Muppets tell their version of Dicken’s classic tale of ‘A Christmas Carol’. Ebenezer Scrooge a greedy miser is held accountable for his actions as he receives a visit from the Ghosts of  Christmas past, present and future.


 The Grinch

The Grinch, who hates Christmas gets extremely annoyed by the people of Whoville as they celebrate the festivities of Christmas. As the Grinch sets out to destroy the Who’s favourite holiday by stealing everything associated with Christmas, he realises that Christmas is not just about presents. This film was a huge box office hit in America, the kids will love it!
